LawBridge™, LawBridge International,™ and Susan Morath Horner, P.C., is a full service private client law firm. We are a consortium of American lawyers and English solicitors and barristers dedicated to meeting all private client (individual and family) estate needs. We devote our practice exclusively to full service estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives (living wills), pre- and post-nuptial agreements, charitable gifting, and probate. In addition, we offer superior services in family law, including international child abductions, and immigration support.
What sets us apart is that, in addition to provide domestic private client services in America and the UK, we specialize in the unique legal needs of expatriates - foreign nationals from any jurisdiction who are in (or have family in) the United States, and American citizens who are living or working abroad. Members of our team are licensed (qualified) to practice law in the United States, England & Wales, and in Hong Kong. However, we are able to meet private client estate needs in most international jurisdications through a sound understanding of international treaties and the legal complexities unwittingly undertaken by today's globe-trotting community.
In order to provide our clients with a full array of personal legal services, often intertwined, our extended team includes family law practitioners who specialize in international divorce and custody issues, as well as an experienced immigration attorney.
We also counsel and assist in the establishment and management of non-profits, charities, foundations, and other tax-exempt entities. And if your goal is charitable giving through your will or trust, we will help you to set your goal in motion.
At LawBridge we also offer consultation (consultancy) services for other lawyers and solicitors around the globe. We are developing a network of qualified counsel in other jurisdictions to "bridge the gap" where people must, as more and more often is the case, confront cross-border legal issues - or simply need to hire a foreign lawyer and do not know where to start.
